The Supply-Chain Council (SCC) is a global non-profit consortium whose methodology, diagnostic, and benchmarking tools have helped almost a thousand firms improve supply chain procedures dramatically and quickly. SCC has produced the most commonly acknowledged framework for assessing and comparing supply chain operations and performance in the supply chain sector.
The SCC's main goal is to define the fundamental processes that make up a supply chain system. They do, however, have a general method called a plan that they use at the same time. Each supply chain operation, such as source, make, deliver, or return, need the addition of a planning process by the modeler. In reality, they necessitate a hierarchy of plan procedures, effectively generating a picture of the supply chain process management effort necessary.
